1. Photocopy of baby’s birth certificate (official standard green colour) - Certified by JP not chemist, doctor or nurse etc. You can find a Justice of Peace by going to the link below.

2. Photocopy of first and last page of baby’s parent’s Indian passport - Certified by JP

3. Photo copy of baby’s parent’s marriage certificate - Certified by JP

4. Photocopy of parent’s current visa grant notice

5. Australian address

6. Australian phone numbers and email address of parents

7. If grandparents live in India, their telephone number

8. If grandparents do not live in India, then provide 2 referee’s names, phone numbers and addresses close to child’s father’s indian address as per his Indian passport.

9. Closest police station name near to baby’s father address in India

10. Photo of baby’s face with eyes open on a light background. Size: 35mm x 45mm. Hard copy and soft copy required for application. If you go to Australia Post or Officeworks then please ask them for an email copy of the digital photo.

    If you don’t have photos we can take in our office.

11. Both parents signature (that matches their passport signatures) on plain white paper. Signatures need to be one above the other.

Once we receive this information we will try to have the application ready for you to sign when you come in to our offices to minimise waiting time.

Amarjit Shah Singh fee: $145 per application where physically present. $175 per application if application completed remotely (e.g. through emails).

VFS Global fee: $142.80 including birth registration fee.

Photo 35mm x 45mm fee (if required): $15
