Indian Passport - Adult - Single

Note: You can only renew your passport within one year of the passport’s expiry.

For e.g. if your passport expires on 5 March 2027, you can only apply for renewal on 5 March 2026 onwards. Not before 5 March 2026.

Further note: Tatkal Indian Passport service (expedited passport service) does not exist in Australia.

    1. Indian passport

    2. Australian visa copy (current visa grant notice, which is not yet expired)

    3. Adhaar card number (if available)

    4. 2 x photos and in some cases 3 x photos (if there is a change of appearance like with or without turban etc.). Size: 35mm x 45mm. Hard copy and soft copy required for application. If you go to Australia Post or Officeworks then please ask them for an email copy of the digital photo.

      If you don’t have photos we can take in our office.

    5. If the passport has expired then ‘Form I’ has to be signed by the applicant in front of Justice of Peace. See download link below.

    6. If there is a change of appearance then ‘Form J’ to be signed by the applicant in front of Justice of Peace. See download link below.

    7. Proof of Australian address (e.g. driver’s licence, bank statement, utility bill). Must be photocopied and certified by JP.

    8. Australian visa copy (current visa grant notice, which is not yet expired).
